Welcome!

The Rotary Club of New Westminster was organized and chartered in 1928. Since that time, we have been proud to have seven of our members serve as Governors of our district and to have sponsored five new clubs.

We have weekly meetings. Our lunch meetings start at noon and our evening social starts at 5:30. Please see our homepage for speakers and meeting locations.

Our club participates in a number of fund raising activities within the New Westminster community. These funds are used to support many local and international projects.

We partner with several community groups doing good in the world providing volunteers for the Don't Go Hungry Food Support Program, The Salvation Army, Royal Canadian Legion and many more.

Service Above Self is our club motto.

Mission: As community leaders, we serve the needs of local and global communities in a diverse and inclusive manner, following the principles of fairness, truthfulness, goodwill, and friendship.

“…There is so much pleasure in Rotary activities. The breakfast,
luncheon, or dinner every week brings you in contact with your fellow
members.

Their diverse interests and knowledge stimulate your interest in your
community…

The planning for service projects both close by or across some distant
horizon carries us out of our own self-interest into the wonderful world
of service to others…and

the pleasing paradox…that we grow in stature when we give of our time
and talent to improve the quality of life for someone else.

How ironic that when we give dignity to someone else, we grow in dignity
ourselves…”
